Slow Fashion from the Island of Gods
We are Julia and Daria, two international girls from Barcelona who fell in love with Bali and its culture, and followed their dreams to create a small, sustainable brand.
We wanted to create something beautiful, a dress that makes women feel empowered, elegant, beautiful and tender but also fierce and wild. Just like the dress we would want to wear. We dove into sketching out our ideas, and then took the design to a small, local tailor who helped us make it reality (not without the assistance of Google Translator though since our Balinese is no good #thankstechnology).
We only use natural fabrics and dyes to protect our planet, and everything is done by hand - dyeing the fabric, sewing the dresses, beading them by hand - bead by bead.
We strongly believe in Slow Fashion and want to create timeless pieces of high quality, that you can combine in many different ways and create your own unique style.
To give back to the island that has given us so much, we donate 10% of our profits to local charity projects that are helping the locals in these unprecedented hard times without tourism, whereas 90% of the population relies on the tourists.
Thanks for sharing our passion and love for Bali ♥

We have designed the Wilde dresses while living in Bali, the Island of Gods. Inspired by the many local artisans, our intention was to create a dress that fits every shape, size, and age of women ? to empower them, and make them feel even more beautiful than they already are. And this is how Wilde was born.
We want to empower woman ? not only the ones that wear our dresses. This is why every single step of the process is in the hands of women. We work with a Balinese all-women team, that dyes the fabric (with eco-dyes which are locally sourced all over Indonesia), sews the dresses and adds the beading ? all by hand. Having a stable income gives them the opportunity to provide for their children and families.
We care! 10% of our profits are donated to local Balinese projects to support the people during those hard times. Bali?s economy is over 90% reliant on tourism ? which has been cut off since March 2020. We support organizations providing rice, vegetables and other first-need products for local families. Help us help them ?
